NSW:Sydney teacher denies assaults on 11yos
A Sydney teacher has pleaded not guilty on charges levelled against him by three 11-year-old
girls.
The 46-year-old man appeared in the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney's CBD today
where he entered pleas of not guilty.
He was removed from a primary school in Sydney's east in November following allegations
he had touched one of the girls inappropriately.
The two other girls have since claimed they were assaulted by being pushed to the ground.
One of the those girls also alleged she was touched inappropriately.
He was charged yesterday with one count of aggravated indecent assault under authority
and four counts of indictable assaults.
The court also heard police issued temporary apprehended violence orders, which prohibits
him from contacting or approaching the alleged victims.
His conditional bail was continued and he's not required to appear at his next court
date on February 1.
