Qld: Has someone fiddled with Liberal mail lists, asks Beattie

Queensland's Labor Premier PETER BEATTIE says someone may have fiddled with Liberal
Party mailing lists after he received a letter seeking a donation to help re-elect the
HOWARD Government.

Mr BEATTIE's released a personally addressed letter he and his wife HEATHER received
from federal Liberal Party president SHANE STONE seeking financial support to help boost
coalition campaign funds.

The Premier, who's government is in crisis over electoral rorting within the ALP, has
called on the Liberals to clean up their mailing lists.

Mr BEATTIE says he thinks he'll pass on the donation.
